The smARTlab is a premiere design, production, photography, and video documentation entity led by photographer and documentary filmmaker, Ben Premeaux. The lab produces original content, serves as Director of Photographer for a broad spectrum of projects, and Premeaux is a commercially licensed drone pilot. 

The smARTlab client has an appetite for poignant storytelling and relationships rooted in trust and adventure. Clients and works include: Emmy Award winning documentary, Nature: Walking With Emerson and Thoreau, the Lennox Lewis documentary, Tough Love, music artist J. Cole (J. The smARTlab’s ongoing collaboration with contemporary artist Mel Chin has yielded work on stellar projects such as: Time Square Series for G.O.N.G. (video), She’s Not There (short film), Fundred PSA, L’Arctique est Paris, Repurpose: The Story of Flint Fit, and Capital to Capital: The Story of Fundred.
